Day Function

Function Day is used to extract day from a date.

Syntax for Day is -

=Day(Serial_number)

Parameters -

Serial_number - Serial number indicates any specific date. In Serial_number, you can type a date directly or a reference that contain date as value.

=DAY("12/25/2019")

Result is 25

Days Function-

Function Days is used to calculates days between 2 dates.

Syntax -

=days(Start_date, End_Date)

Parameters -

Start_date - As the name, Here we insert the date from which we start counting days.

End_date - Here we insert the date up to that we count days.

=DAYS("12/25/2019","12/20/2019")

Result is 5
