About  DEC2OCT() function

The DEC2OCT() function is an Engineering function that converts a decimal number into octal decimal number. It keeps a single argument that is number.

Where to apply :

This function is used by engineers where machines need to convert the decimal number into octal decimal number. It is also used in education.

Syntax :

=DEC2OCT(number)

Parameters :

number- A decimal number. it means positive and negative numbers.

Example:

1. For the decimal number is 25.


=DEC2OCT(25)    // Returns (31)

It returns 31 for the decimal number 25.
