About  HEX2DEC() function

The HEX2DEC() function is an Engineering function that converts a hexadecimal number into decimal number. It keeps a single argument that is number.

Where to apply :

This function is used by engineers where machines need to convert the hexadecimal number into decimal number. It is also used in education.

Syntax :

=HEX2DEC(number)

Parameters :

number- A hexadecimal number.

Example:

1. For the hexadecimal number is E.


=HEX2DEC(E)    // Returns (14)

It returns 14 for the hexadecimal number E.
