About  IMPRODUCT() function

The IMPRODUCT() function is an Engineering function that returns the product of 2 complex numbers in text form.

Where to apply :

This function is used by engineers to solve the multiplication of 2 or more complex numbers.

Syntax :

=IMPRODUCT(inumber1, inumber2)

Parameters :

inumber1- A real number / complex number.

inumber2- A real number / complex number.

Example:

1. For the complex numbers "9+3i" and 3.


=IMPRODUCT("9+3i", "3")    // Returns (27+9i)

It returns "27+9i" for the complex number"9+3i" and real number 3 .
