About  LOG() function

The LOG() function is a Math and Trig function that returns the logarithm of a given number to a specified base. This function keeps 2 parameters and they are number, [base].

Where to apply :

This function is used by engineers and in education also wherever it needs to get log based values.

Syntax :

=LOG(number, [base])

Parameters :

number - Any number

[base] - base of a number

Example:

1. For the number 16 and base 16.


=LOG(16,16)    // Returns (1)

It returns 1 for number 16 with base 16.
