Highlight Top 3 figures in Excel

I have Student table wherein i want to highlight the top 3 students with respect to column Total (with green font).

I can use conditional formatting to get the target cells highlighted.

Go to Home tab, click on conditional formatting and select top/Bottom option and click top 10 category.

Once you click top 10 category the top 10 items dialog box will be open just front of you.

Once we click on conditional top 10 items, we'll see a window wherein we can easily select the top 3 instead of top 10 and set the highlighting option in green font.
